This multi award winning film company was created in summer 2005 by filmmakers Jan Dunn & Elaine Wickham. Maeve has made three FEATURE FILMS, all released in cinemas and then onto dvd. Within two years of setting up, the company also won a prestigious Kent business award for BEST CREATIVE company in Kent. The three award winning films were all made on tiny budgets, shot in two weeks and all released in cinemas in the UK ranging from multi-plex cinemas to art-house. The films have established the filmmakers in the UK and Internationally.

Maeve Films now has a number of projects in DEVELOPMENT and both filmmakers work outside of Maeve Films independently as freelancers represented by United Agents, London. Maeve Films have also produced several SHORT FILMS since they set up, including the award winning short films My Mother and Lullaby.

The company has also run training initiatives for disenfranchised youth and short courses for young people on the autistic spectrum, which led to the setting up of their charity arm, KENT FILM FOUNDATION. Maeve films also offers TRAINING in filmmaking in the form of short courses, workshops and masterclasses and will shortly be offering screenwriting courses.
